Our office has worked with rigorous historic review boards and urban landmark commissions. This can include a spectrum from researching restrictions and opportunities to filing requested information to drawing and choosing specific details. We look forward to the opportunity to creating a meaningful project while respecting the context and history of place.
Addition to Sag Harbor One Room Schoolhouse
The goal was to create a sunny quiet space off the historic building. Detailing included incorporating current structural and insulation needs while hewing to a vision of a simple shed. Landscaping for a simple terrace that connects hill to sun space to outdoor shower and surf board space.
